Delete your Roza account

In the app (fastest)

Open Roza and sign in.
Go to the Me tab.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
Read what will be removed, type the confirmation word, and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately. There is no waiting period, and we cannot restore a deleted account.

Without the app

If you can no longer sign in or have uninstalled Roza, email roza.support@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you. We will delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner, and let you know when it is done.

Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your account, or the app, does not cancel a Roza Plus subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

What is deleted

Your profile and everything in it
All your photos, including any uploaded during a sign-up you didn’t finish
Likes you sent and received, and all your matches
Messages you sent
Blocks you placed
Your approximate location, if you shared it
Your notification token and subscription records
Your sign-in account, so it can no longer be used

What is kept, and why

Reports filed about you, and reports you filed, are kept with your account link removed. This stops account deletion from being a way to erase a record of harmful behaviour and start again. A report can still include the text of messages the reporter attached to it, which may include messages you wrote.

Residual copies may remain in our providers’ routine backups for a short time until they are overwritten. We also keep information for longer where the law requires it.
